Tips for club race day
KNOW YOUR EVENTS
Swimmers should be aware of all races they are competing in. It might be helpful for swimmers to write these events on their hands to help remind them throughout the day.
WARMING UP
It is extremely important all swimmers warm up prior to their races. Warm up will commence 30min before competition start time.
TIMELINES
A timelines of events will be sent out prior to the start of the day. “it is the swimmers responsibility to constantly check the marshalling board” for sudden changes.
MARSHALLING
Swimmers marshal in the grandstand. Marshalling area is only for swimmers, strictly no parents/siblings.
